Wesley was raised in Arizona and introduced to the construction industry while young through his father who owns and operates General Contracting and HVAC businesses. In this realm he learned to appreciate business and was taught firsthand how to bid jobs, manage crews and be proficient and profitable in the process.
During 2007 he was a Superintendant of a home building company and was in charge of all sub- contractors, budgets and timing of completion.
While raised in construction his background in agriculture started at a young age and since has spent most efforts in hands on experience and education in an effort to become knowledgeable and effective in the industry. He holds a certificate of Ranch Management from Texas Christian University and has used his contacts there and since to help build a successful career.
During 2001-2008 he spent gaining experience in the day-to-day operations of ranching. During this time he made contact and worked for some highly productive ranchers who have taught him firsthand the economics and production of ranching. He was the Ranch Manager of Hudson Livestock in San Angelo, TX during May 2010-November 2011 where he was responsible for all budgets, cattle production, heifer development, AI program, back grounding program and managed all work.
In late 2011 he started his own business in agriculture services in which he brokers all classes of livestock, does consulting work in many areas including business plans, feedlot, grass and wheat breakevens, wildlife budgets and plans, infrastructure work, pasture rotation and contract management.
He works with some of the most successful people in agriculture, real estate and other business fields and has gained a reputation for entrepreneurship skills, business plan creation and execution.
He served a two year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, June 2002-June 2004 to Tulsa Oklahoma Mission. There he managed the affairs of other missionaries and has since served in many leadership capacities.
